How do you vote?

Hey guys, seeing as most of the zone icon bash board is about how this thing won't be fair, I just wanted to know how you guys vote. I'm not asking you to tell me who you've voted for, but what decides your votes. For example, I vote for pitch and rhythm and breathing. What about you? Do you just vote for your friends? Or are there specific things that you look for?

i haven't voted, but if i did, i'd vote for the voice, and if i like the sound and, yep, whether they're in tune.

I agree with the last two posts. Mainly i look for pitch as perfect as possible. I also like originality. I don't like people who try to copy other popular artists.

I don't have any friends in the competition. And if I did, I'd like to think I wouldn't let that prejudice me. I vote for who I honestly feel has the best voice and stayed on pitch the most.

I also vote for who I think was the best.

If I voted I'd look for quality and voice, etc. I wouldn't just vote for someone just because they were my friend, just like a teacher automatically should give you an a just because you are their pet. I give people what they deserve and I vote fair.

I also vote for who I think di the best.
Last week proved to be easier since with the acapella singing it was more a matter of not who only sung good but stayed on pitch and showed confidence.
Needless to say, it wasn't me.

I don't know any of the contestants, so my vote was based on who I felt performed the best with pitch, presentation, etc. Unfortunately, I did not get a chance to hear last week's show, but really enjoyed this one. Congrats to all the contestants and to the Icon staff, a great job with production, judging, etc.

I don't really have close friends in icon but even if I did, I wouldn't vote cos of that factor. I, like all the others vote on who I liked the sound of the most on the night.
